Is just rolling by! I try to keep up with the blogging and the next thing I know it has been months since my last blog!

Alot has been going on, we took a trip to Florida to visit my grand parents... went to sea world. So much fun!

Day 27 : Crazy Catchlights

I was at a friends house today, she has this set of 3 huge windows, I didnt realize it before but seriously - those catchlights are crazy! LOL

But on a different note -look at how grown up my baby boy looks!

Day 26: A few of my favorite things

I know Ive slacked off a bit, but Im back today with a few of my favorite things. I love PINK. As if you couldnt tell by logo? :) Petal Pink Vera Bradley is my favorite, unfortunatly its retired so I have to hunt my pieces of it on ebay!! I love my pink walkman phone, its so cute. I drive a Ford, and I just enjoy my car - I seriously dredded becoming a mini van mom when I got pregnant with our 3rd child ( no offense to you mini van mom's out there its just not me!). So we went with a Ford Freestyle, I feel like its a hip grocery getter! HAHA But I love it. And of course My Canon equipment. I just love my equipment, its like my 4th child. :)

Yesterday - Day 23

Yesterday was such a long day. I had to take Jared to the doctor, found out that he has acid reflux and is severly broken out on his face. I had a meeting with two photographers from church about volunteering and such. Then I met J to do some grocery shopping. We then ran home to drop the girls off so J and I could go meet David Silliman - the most amazing financial planner ( You can find him at Peoples Choice Mortgage off of Heatherstone Dr in Fredericksburg). We got home and ate dinner around 7 and then just spent some family time together. We still didnt hear about the house, so just waiting patiently. Hopefully we will hear Monday! Anyway, this is my excuse for not having an image up yesterday - just way too busy!! But I forsee quite a few days like this in the future if we get this house, so Im trying not to beat myself up too much for it. :)

Day 22: BRRRR

Its getting so cold!! I do not like the cold, I hate waking up in the mornings to take Kylie to preschool and having to run out and start the car to get rid of the frost on the car!! Ive been wanting to capture the frost - but its seriously too cold for me! LOL.

Thank God for fire!

Hi, I’m writing to you in response to the free photography session. I’m a recent single mother of 3 beautiful kids. I love to take pictures, but find myself confined to that job solely. I’m never in any pictures with my children. As you know, being a mother is a full time job in itself. Between my paid full time job and being a mom, I find it hard to schedule photography sessions and to be honest I’m not at all pleased with cheesy chain photography studios. They don’t seem to have the passion and drive to capture what I want in a picture. I have a passion for photography and know what gratitude I find in a natural moment. I just wish I could be a part of that picture with my children. My only Christmas wish would be to hang a nice family picture on our wall that captures me and my family in our natural essence. I hope to hear from you soon!

Day 21 : No Photo

Today will be the first day of this 365 journey that I will not have a photo. I sit here with Jared asleep on my lap - and Im not willing to wake him up to take some sort of picture as he has not been sleeping well the past couple of nights. Im exhausted! So hopefully he will fall into a deep sleep and I will be able to put him in his bed for a good nights rest. The rest of the day has been a bit hectic. Life with 3 children is no walk in the park, thats for sure! So no time to pick up the camera and take a picture - but hey, its not the end of the world. :)

Stillll no word on the house, I so thought we would have heard by now - but no word. Our realtor said today that it could take a week, so Im just thinking we will hear by monday and if we hear earlier - GREAT!

Its time to go spend some time in lightroom and work on my little beauties from yesterday!

Day 19 : Up to no good

Its really no surprise to me, but I found Katie sitting in Kylies bottom dresser drawer drawing in it with chapstick.

This look clearly displays the Im up to no good look!

Day 18: Money

We started a chore sticker chart for Kylie about a week ago to try to give her some incentive for doing things such as saying her prayers, picking up her toys, eating her meals... etc. So tonight we went over how many stickers she had and we decided we would give her $.05 for each sticker. She earned $2.70 for this week. We also started teaching her about tithing and giving back to the Lord. She will be giving her 10% back to God and then putting another 10% in her savings account. I know its a small amount of money, but with us trying to buy a new house - its what we have to work with! :)

Anyway, while I was at it I got Kylie's piggy bank out and decided to count the change and dollar bills in there - a whopping $27! So we will be taking a trip to the bank on friday!

Day 17: Let there be light

As I was on my way home from Walmart it started to down pour. Great I thought, I have three kiddos in the car and about 3 trips to and from the house worth of groceries! As I got closer to the house it let up. And just before I turned down our road I was presented with this beautiful sky just waiting to be captured. So I ran home, unloaded the groceries and kiddos and got back up to the top of the road to this beautiful scene just calling my camera!
